Not good

by Tessa Hope
(Manjimup, )

Hi, my name is Tessa Hope and I have 3 children.

Department of Child Protection (DCP) took my kids away from me because they reckon that my middle child was behind on his development, just by looking at the milestones chart, i look now that he wasn't behind at all.

All my children do their milestone when they are ready.

I was a slow baby when I was growing up, so my children are doing this at their own pace.

How could they do that?
by: I`m confused

I`m a little confused. How can the DCP just come in and take your 3 children from you just because they THINK your child is not progressing at the rate they felt he should? That`s just crazy. Who`s to say he didn`t have an undiagnosed learning disability. If you don`t mind me asking, What was it that they said he was behind on? And how far behind was he suppose to be. Plus the reason they felt was the cause of the delay. How long did it take you to get them back and what steps did you have to go thru to get them back?
