Parenting babies is no easy task. But it is a fun and an exciting chore if you put your heart into doing it.
|
Who knows, maybe in the near future, you could be asked by your close friends or relatives to babysit their children.
If not, maybe one day you will decide to become a parent yourself.
So, to prepare yourself for either of these situations, take some time to learn about parenting babies.
Wait! Before you even go and start parenting a baby, it is very important to know how sensitive a baby is, especially when it comes to the environment that they are in and the food that they take.
For example, a baby is more likely to sleep well in a cozy and well-winded room compared to the opposite, and a baby taking breast milk are more nourished compared to formulated milk.
That's why it is best to supervise the actions of your baby especially when she has already learned to walk.
When the awareness of your baby starts to develop, she begins to build up curiosity. For example, when your baby sees an object especially that is new to her or is moving, she tries to pick up.
Not knowing the dangers of the object that she sees, dirty or sharp, she will pick it up. And what's worse, she might even play with it, bite it or swallow it.
So, it is best to organize your things. Put small and harmful objects in places away from the reach of your child, and always clean and sanitize the environment that she is in.
Breast feeding is best for babies up to two years. Not only that you will be able to provide your baby with the right amount of nutrition, you will also be able to save a lot of expenses on formulated milk.
Aside from milk, you could also try making nutritious homemade baby foods for your baby. Making baby food is as easy as preparing a cup of coffee.
Try making cereals made out of rice; fruit recipes like apple sauce that is rich in Vitamins A, C and Folate; or vegetable baby food like squash or green beans paste that is rich in Vitamin A, C, K, Niacin and Folate.
Choose your own ingredients. Your baby will love it!
Know what's best for your baby. Research, study and learn about parenting babies/children. There is nothing to lose if you give it a try, right?
Trust me, it is a fun and educational process.
