It's Thanksgiving and you want to celebrate the holiday with lots of turkey. There are a lot of turkey crafts for kids that you can choose from.
These crafts help stimulate your children's artistic imagination and creativity like a turkey's colourful feathers and designs.

Here are some turkey crafts your children will really love and enjoy...
All you need to do is stamp your finger into the paint and make an arch of fingerprints as the turkey's tail.
Choose another colour and stamp a smaller arch inside the first one.
Then use your thumb to stamp a brown thumbprint as the turkey's body. Use a marker and draw the eyes, beak and feet.
You can use this painting technique for Thanksgiving greeting cards or for other holiday decorations.
You can press the leaves for a few days to keep them from getting crunchy. Arrange and glue the leaves on a piece of paper forming a fan shape.
Use a lot of glue to place the pinecone at the middle bottom of the pan. Draw and cut out eyes from a piece of cardboard and glue in to the pinecone.
Cut out a triangle beak from an orange felt and a red wobbler. Glue them in place and let it dry for a couple of hours.
There you have it, a nice turkey decoration made from natural materials.
This is also a fun activity to do while you spend time with your kids in the park.
This turkey craft for kids is a nice way to spend a holiday because they need your supervision, as the steps would become more intricate.
All you need is a paper bag, acrylic paint or crayons, rubber band, newspaper, a plastic spoon, scraps of coloured felt, two wiggle eyes, white glue and scissors.
Lay the paper bag flat on a table and paint stripes of colours to the opening of the bag. Cut the strips with scissors and paint the opposite side.
Fill the bag halfway with crumpled newspaper then gather and then hold the bag in your hands, under the strips and secure it with a rubber band.
Cut pieces of felt to make a beak, gobbler and feet. Paint the spoon light brown and then glue the wiggle eyes, beak and gobbler.
Make a small hole in the bag where the neck and the head should be. Place the plastic spoon in the opening and glue to seal.
Glue the feet and there you have it, a cute and colourful paper bag turkey for Thanksgiving.
